Gayo Coffee

Gayo coffee is grown in the Aceh highlands of northern Sumatra, one of Indonesia's largest and most respected Arabica origins. Cultivated by smallholder farmers around the Gayo plateau and Lake Laut Tawar, it is prized by roasters for its heavy body and complex, savory character.

Expect a full-bodied cup with herbal and cedar notes, dark chocolate depth, and the famously low acidity that comes from the traditional wet-hulled (Giling Basah) process.

We source Gayo green beans directly from farmer cooperatives, with organic and Fair Trade certified lots available for wholesale and export.
